COOKIES poured this month! Amazing the ideas by creative decorators that played this month ~ Nos llovieron GALLETAS este mes! Impresionantes ideas de creativas decoradoras que jugaron este mes...


It is inspiring and I want to think some of us are making COOKIES we had dreamt about but weren't in the mood... that is what this group is for! For pushing us a little harder, for stepping from our comfort zone, for decorating COOKIES just for fun! ~ Es inspirador y quiero pensar que algunas estamos haciendo GALLETAS que habíamos soñado pero no habíamos tenido ganas... para esto es este grupo! Para empujarnos un poquito más, para salir de nuestra zona de confort, para decorar GALLETAS solo por diversión!

April Showers Plaque ~ Placa Lluvias de Abril

I am completely in love with Fancy Square COOKIE Cutter from Coppergifts, I NEED the other two sizes that were not available when I purchased this one :D ~ Estoy perdidamente enamorada del  Cortador de GALLETAS Fancy Square de Coppergifts, NECESITO los otros dos tamaños que no estaban disponibles cuando compre este :D


Today I will show you how I made the Plaque April Showers COOKIE, and you will see how I make some fun details, too! ~ Hoy te voy a mostrar cómo hice la GALLETA Placa Lluvias de Abril, y te voy a mostrar cómo decore algunos detalles, tambien!

1. Outline with pale Royal Blue Icing ~ Delínea con Icing Royal Blue, pálido.

2. Flood with 20 Second Consistency Icing, leaving some spaces ~ Rellena con Icing Consistencia 20 Segundos, dejando unos espacios.

3. Flood the spaces with 20 Second Consistency Icing in White ~ Rellena los espacios con Icing consistencia 20 Segundos en Blanco

4. Let dry 8 hours or overnight ~ Deja secar 8 horas o toda la noche.

5. Outline the Umbrella (I used Leaf Green). Flood alternated sections to give dimension ~ Delínea el Paraguas (yo usé Leaf Green). Rellena secciones de forma intercalada para dar dimensión.

6. Flood remaining section. Let dry 2 hours ~ Rellena la sección restante. Deja secar 2 horas.

7. Pipe dots with Golden Yellow Icing ~ Dibuja puntitos con Icing Golden Yellow.

8. Pipe dots with Deep Pink, leave a space between dots ~ Dibuja puntitos con Deep Pink, deja un espacio entre los puntitos.

9. Fill the spaces with more dots. Repeat with Orange dots ~ Llena los espacios con más puntitos. Repite con puntitos Orange

Finish with details: Umbrella Tube and Cap, pipe "April Showers"... tada!!! ~ Termina con detalles: Bastón y Botón del Paraguas, escribe "April Showers"... listo!

Ducklings and BlueBirds COOKIES ~ GALLETAS de Patitos y Pajaritos Azules

Hello again! ~ Hola de nuevo!

Remember yesterday I mentioned Elmo was coming to play with us? Here he is!! And with his help we'll work on two COOKIES perfect for Babies ~ Te acuerdas que ayer mencioné que hoy Elmo iba a jugar con nosotros? Aquí está!!

For these COOKIES I used the Sesame Street Cookie Cutter Set ~ Para estas GALLETAS usé el juego de cortadores de Plaza Sesamo.

1. Outline the Umbrella in White ~ Delínea el Paraguas con Blanco.

2. Outline the Duckling Head, Body and Left Wing with Golden Yellow ~ Delínea la Cabeza, Cuerpo y Ala Izquierda del Patito con Golden Yellow. 

3. Start flooding by sections, and waiting before flooding the next one to give dimension ~ Empieza a rellenar por secciones, y esperando a rellenar la siguiente para dar dimensión.

 4. Let dry for 8 hours or overnight ~ Deja secar 8 horas o toda la noche.

5. Draw vertical and horizontal lines using Food Color Pens ~ Dibuja líneas verticales y horizontales usando Plumones de Colores.

6. Outline and flood the Right Wing. I didn't wait for the Food Color Pens to dry, so the blue shows under the yellow icing :( ~ Delínea y rellena el Ala Derecha. Yo no espere a que los Plumones de Colores se secaran, por eso se nota el azul debajo del icing :(

7. Finish your COOKIE by adding details: Feathers on top of the head, Umbrella Tube and Cap, Beak, and Eyes ~ Termina tu GALLETA con detalles: Plumitas arriba de la Cabeza, Bastón y Botón del Paraguas,  Piquito y Ojos.

I made the Blubird using 20 Second Consistency RI, but it is basically the same ~ Hice el Pajarito Azul usando RI Consistencia 20 Segundos, pero es basicamente lo mismo

April Showers Babies ~ Bebés de Lluvias de Abril

Hello!!! Today I invited a good friend to play... can you guess?? ~ Hola!! Hoy invité a un buen amigo a jugar... puedes adivinar??

COOKIE Monster!!! For these COOKIES I used the one that comes in the Sesame Street Cookie Cutter Set ~ El  Monstruo Come GALLETAS!!! Para estas GALLETAS usé el que viene en el juego de Cortadores de Plaza Sésamo...

1. Using a 20 second consistency RI, make an oval shape using color Flesh or Copper (that is the one used for flesh). That will be the Face ~ Con RI de consistencia de 20 segundos, haz un ovalo en color Flesh o Copper (son los colores que se usan para piel). Esa será la Cara

2. Pipe the Umbrella in White ~ Delínea el Paraguas en Blanco 

3. Pipe the Body using the same icing consistency and color you used for the Face ~ Forma el Cuerpo con la misma consistencia y color de icing que usaste para la Cara

4. Flood alternate Umbrella sections to give dimension ~ Rellena el Paraguas de forma intercalada para dar dimensión

5. Continue flooding the Umbrella, until it is all flooded. Let dry 8 hours or overnight ~ Continua rellenando el Paraguas hasta que todo esté terminado. Deja secar 8 horas o durante toda la noche

6. Draw vertical lines using Food Color Pens ~ Dibuja líneas verticales usando Plumones de Colores

 7. Draw horizontal lines ~ Dibuja líneas horizontales

8. Pipe the Arms and Ears ~ Forma los Brazos y Orejas

Finish your COOKIE by adding details: Hair, the Umbrella Tube and Cap, Rosy Cheeks (with Peach Luster Dust), Eyes and Smile ~ Termina tu GALLETA con detalles: Pelo, Bastón y Botón del Paraguas,  Mejillas Sonrosadas (con Luster Dust color Peach), Ojos y Sonrisa

Play with colors for Boy or Girl, or to match the theme! ~ Juega con los colores para Niño o Niña, o para que combine con el tema!


I invited Elmo to play with us tomorrow! ~ Invité a Elmo a jugar con nosotros mañana!

Wellies and Umbrellas ~ Wellies y Paraguas

Don't you love rainy days? The only time I don't is when I have to decorate COOKIES... As a child I loved to go out with my umbrella, and I made sure my children had raincoats and umbrellas to play and have fun... ~ No te encantan los días lluviosos? Las únicas veces en que no me gustan es cuando decoro GALLETAS... De niña me gustaba salir con mi paraguas, y me encargué de que mis hijos tuvieran impermeables y paraguas para jugar ay divertirse...


Rain can be heavy in Cancun, sometimes... I wonder why we don't wear Wellies and Raincoats... ~ A veces la lluvia en Cancun puede ser fuerte... me pregunto por qué no usamos Wellies e Impermeables...


I designed my own... ~ Diseñé los mios...

1. I started with a Cupcake COOKIE Cutter, I love this one! ~ Empecé con un Cortador de GALLETAS de forma de Cupcake (Panquecito/Quequito), me gusta mucho este!

2. Outline the Umbrella and Wellies with Rose Pink; outline a White Cloud ~ Delínea el Paraguas y los Wellies con Rose Pink; delínea la Nube con Blanco.

3. Flood the Wellies and alternate flooding the Umbrella section to give dimension. Let dry 1 hour ~ Rellena los Wellies y el Paraguas de forma intercalada para dar dimensión. Deja secar 1 hora

4. Flood the Cloud. Let dry until a thin crust forms and make it fluff by swirling with a toothpick. I was thinking this would work great for fuzzy animals! ~ Rellena la Nube. Deja secar hasta que forme una capa delgada y haz que se esponje moviendo un palillo. Creo que esto serviría para animales peluditos!

5. Flood the remaining Umbrella section. Let dry 2 hours ~ Rellena la sección restante del Paraguas. Deja secar 2 horas

6. Add details. Let dry 8 hours or overnight ~ Agrega los detalles. Deja secar 8 horas o toda la noche
