As usual, I loved working on this set of COOKIES, the colours and theme are one of my favourites. I received the candy cutter as a gift from my friend Lisa at COOKIE Camp, I wanted it so much, that whenever I use it I remember my dear friend and thank her for it...

I iced the lollies the hard way: first piping a spiral border and filling small sections with different colours. This has to be done fast, so that they blend nicely to the next section, and with the right consistency, in order that they don't mix or flow to the inner or outer spiral... and I love how they look, and the dimension they have!!

I didn't know what colours to use for the ice cream cone, I was thinking copper (flesh), so I asked some of my COOKIE friends and used Buckeye Brown and a speck of Golden Yellow with the copper... I think it is pretty close to the real colour, what do you think?

Como siempre, me encantó este grupo de GALLETAS, los colores y el tema son de mis favoritos! El cortador en forma de dulce, lo recibi como regalo de parte de mi amiga Lisa, del COOKIE Camp, lo había buscado tanto y tenía tantas ganas de trabajar con el, que cada vez que lo uso, me acuerdo de ella y sigo agradeciendo su generosidad...

Decoré las paletas en la forma complicada: primero hice un borde en espiral, y luego fui llenando secciones en los distintos colores, esto debe hacerse rápido para que la superficie se vea lisa, sin que se mezclen los colores por lo que la consistencia es muy importante... me encantó la dimensión que tienen y como se ven!

Para los conos de nieve, tenía dudas sobre qué color usar... pensé en el Copper (Carne), pero no estaba muy segura, asi que pedí ayuda a mis amigas GALLETERAS y usé el Copper pero le puse un poco de Café y una puntita de Amarillo Oro... creo que se acerca mucho al color real, tu que piensas?

Sometimes COOKIES come out just they way you dream about them... the perfect colours, desings, shapes, and details... this set is one of my favourite of all times... I was happy working on it, and loved the COOKIES!!!

Algunas veces las GALLETAS quedan justo como las soñamos... los colores perfectos, diseños, formas y detalles... este grupo es uno de mis favoritos entre todos lo que he hecho... me gustó mucho trabajar en el y me encantaron las GALLETAS!!

I made these COOKIES for my friends' birthday party... the chocolate covered strawberry was inspired by my COOKIE Camp friend, Johnna, Polka-dot Zebra... I had an extra box, and my cousin's friend came to Cancun, so I had the chance to send her a box, too!

Hice estas GALLETAS para el cumpleaños de unas amigas... la idea de las fresas cubiertas con chocolate es de mi amiga del COOKIE Camp, Johnna, Polka-dot Zebra en flickr... tenía una caja extra, y pude enviarla a una prima, porque una amiga vino a Cancun!!

I made 4 sets of these COOKIES to my cousins and friends in Mexico City... I love Paisley and wanted make some but I don't own a cutter... I played with cutters I own and had a great time... I packed them in acetate boxes and tied a ribbon...

I made these COOKIES for Emilia's birth date... her mother saw an image but wanted a different colour scheme... Made some minis and a scalloped COOKIE with the name of her big sis... loved the designs and working with the mom was a pleasure... Welcome Emilia!!!

I just finished this in time for some of my best friends' birthday celebration... I packed them in acetate boxes to give to each one... I love Fall, and even though I can't see seasons change in Cancun, I can have fun with COOKIES... I'm trying to use what I learned at COOKIE Camp, hope you like them!

Acabo de terminar estas GALLETAS, justo a tiempo para la celebración del cumpleaños de algunas amigas... las empaqué en cajas de acetato para regalar a cada una... me encanta el Otoño, y aunque en Cancun no son evidentes los cambios de estación, puedo divertirme decorado GALLETAS... Estoy tratando de usar las técnicas que aprendí en el COOKIE Camp, espero que les gusten!

I recently made this COOKIES for Corto Moltedo's Trunkshow Dinner in Cancun... this was a very exclusive dinner, and ladies from our society were invited to a new restaurant that opened in a beautiful mexican house.

I took the idea of the iron gate and bull's eye for some of the COOKIES... The PR mentioned he took 2 COOKIES back home, hope he liked them...

Hace unos días hice estas GALLETAS para la Cena del Trunkshow del diseñador Corto Moltedo en Cancun... fue una cena muy exclusiva, a donde se invitó a damas de la sociedad a un restaurant recién abierto... el local es una bellísima casa tipo mexicano...

Tomé la idea de las GALLETAS de reja y del ojo de buey de la fachada del restaurant... La RP me platicó que Corto se llevó 2 GALLETAS en su viaje de regreso, espero que le hayan gustado...

This set was really fun to make... They were for a birthday party, but they are perfect for a Beach Wedding... I can use different colors and details that coordinate with the event... I liked how the Palm Tree COOKIE turned out...

When I met Maestra R. (she is well known teacher in their hometown) I understood why my friend is such a loving and caring person... you know "The apple never falls far from the tree"...
