Bluebird and Nest with Eggs ~ Pajarito Azul con Nido y Huevitos

Hi! This COOKIE is similar to my BlueBirds and Nest COOKIE, only this time I used a Candy Corn Cutter ~ Hola! Esta GALLETA es similar a mi GALLETA de Pajaritos Azules y Nido, solo que en esta ocasión utilicé un Cortador de forma de Dulce de Maíz.

1. Start by outlining a Nest with Chocolate Brown ~ Empieza por delinear un nido con Café Chocolate.

2. Outline the Wings and the BlueBirdie's body ~ Delinea las Alas y el cuerpo del Pajarito Azul.

3. Flood the Nest, let dry 1 hour. Flood the body, let dry 2-3 hours. Flood the wings, let dry overnight ~ Rellena el Nido, deja secar 1 hora. Rellena el cuerpo, deja secar 2-3 horas. Rellena las alas, deja secar toda la noche u 8 horas.


4. While the BlueBird COOKIE is drying, outline and fill two mini Easter eggs with Golden Yellow. Attach to Nest with icing ~ Mientras la GALLETA de Azulejo se está secando, delínea y rellena dos mini huevitos de Pascua con Amarillo Dorado. Pégalos al nido con glasa.


5. Add details ~ Agrega los detalles

Bluebirds ~ Azulejos

Hi! ~ Hola


I welcomed Spring with these cute birdies, peeking from their very crowded nest. And this time I am going to show you how to do it! ~ Recibí a la Primavera con estos tiernos pajaritos, asomándose dentro de su apretado nidito. Y en esta ocasión voy a enseñarte cómo hacerlo!

1. Start with a Hello Kitty face COOKIE. Outline a nest with Chocolate Brown icing ~ Empieza con una GALLETA de cara de Hello Kitty. Delínea un nido con glaseado Café Chocolate.

2. Outline some eggs with Golden Yellow icing, and the birdies' wings with Turquoise Blue ~ Delínea unos huevitos con glaseado Amarillo Dorado, y las alas de los pajaritos con Azul Turquesa.

3. Outline the bodies in Turqouise Blue. Fill the nest and bodies. Let dry for about 30 min.  ~ Delínea los cuerpos en Azul Turquesa. Rellena el nido y los cuerpos. Deja secar por 30 min. aproximadamente.

4. Fill the bird's wings and some eggs. Alternate filling egg by sections to get dimensional look. Let dry ~  Rellena las alas de los pajaritos y algunos huevitos. Intercala el rellenado de los huevitos para que se vea la dimensión. Deja secar.

5. Continue filling eggs. Let dry overnight or 8 hours ~ Sigue rellenando los huevitos. Deja secar toda la noche u 8 horas.

6. Add details ~ Agrega los detalles.

Baby Shower COOKIES ~ GALLETAS para Baby Shower

Working on this COOKIE set was really fun! The images were used for the invitation and throughout the event. They were small COOKIES, which can sometimes be a challenge, but the shapes were easy.


I love the springlike colors, and cute faces. The turquoise border matched the envelopes and ribbons.

Trabajar en este grupo de GALLETAS fue muy divertido! Las imágenes se usaron para la invitación y el resto de evento. Eran GALLETAS pequeñas, lo que a veces puede ser un reto, pero las formas eran sencillas.


Me gustaron los colores primaverales y caritas tiernas. El borde turquesa hacía juego con los sobres y listones.

But what are the probabilities of sharing ALL the above?... I will say that is a chain of coincidences!

My dear friend sent me a gift I will cherish! An apron, embroidered with her blog's name, and a magazine that features her blog and an article about her Broderie Anglaise COOKIES...

Algunas veces, cuando conoces a alguien, y comienzas a saber más de esa persona, encuentras coincidecias que la hacen especial en menos tiempo del que usualmente nos lleva...

Muchas veces encontramos a alguien con el mismo nombre, y diminutivo...

Una persona que disfruta de las mismas cosas que a ti  te gustan...

Alguien que nació el mismo año en que tu naciste...

O el mismo mes...

el mismo día o un día cercano a tu cumpleaños...

Pero qué probabilidades hay de compartir TODO lo que mencioné?... Diría que es una cadena de coincidencias!

Ese es el caso entre Bea Roque, de España, conocida por su famosisimo blog El Rincón de Bea, y yo... decimos que somos gemelas separadas al nacer... y separadas por el Atlántico...

Mi amiga me envió un regalo que significa mucho para mi! Un paquete con un delantal, con el nombre de su blog bordado, y una revista en la que escriben sobre su blog, y hay un artículo sobre sus GALLETAS de Bordado Inglés...
