I made these COOKIES for a Baby Shower... Inspired by painted wood decoration provided by my youngest daughter's BFF mom. This was the cake topper and the rectangles were bagged for the guests...

Hice estas GALLETAS para un Baby Shower... Me inspiré en unas decoraciones en madera que me dio la mamá de la mejor amiga de mi hija menor... La GALLETA grande era la decoración del pastel, y los rectángulos estaban empacados en bolsitas para las invitadas...

I made this COOKIE for a lady that turned 30 this week. Her friend told me she is Ursula's fan and loves purple. I had trouble with the eyes, but think they came out OK.

This is one big COOKIE :) 7" x 9 1/2" . I was worried of how it would turn out, but at the end I had fun working on it... It was like suddenly knowing EXACTLY what to do first, and things came out smoothly...

She received 30 gifts, one for each year and this one was number 29... I was later told that the COOKIE was a success and that she loved it! Isn't that what we aim for when we work our hearts on a special COOKIE? :D

Hice esta GALLETA para una persona que cumplió 30 años esta semana. Su amiga me dijo que es fan de Ursula y le encanta el color morado. Los ojos me dieron un poco de problemas pero creo que al final salieron bien.

Esta GALLETA es bastante grande (7" x 9 1/2"). La verdad me preocupaba un poco (o un mucho) cómo iba a hacerla, pero a fin de cuentas me divertí mucho decorándola... fue como de repente saber EXACTAMENTE qué hacer primero, y todo el proceso se fue dando...

La festejada recibió 30 regalos, uno por cada año que cumplió y este fue el número 29... después me enteré que la GALLETA fue un éxito y le encantó! No es eso lo que todas deseamos cuando ponemos todo nuestro empeño y amor en una GALLETA especial? :)

I's B-days always have a theme... I've worked on COOKIES for her family parties and really enjoy doing so. Her mom will call and let me know about the coming party, her idea, and asking what can I do for it... it's such a pleasure to do COOKIES for her, that I could just answer "Whatever you want!" BUT it can be challenging sometimes... This time she came up with a Farm theme, provided the animals clipart and asked for the Sunflowers... I wanted to try bandanas, so I told her about it. I've never done them before, but my friend Callye, The Sweet Adventures of SugarBelle, is a master-bandana-COOKIE-icer... And she perfectly explained me how to ice bandana print COOKIES! She even told me she'll make a tuto for that, so keep an eye on her blog if you want to try bandanas...

Las fiestas de I. siempre tienen un tema... He hecho GALLETAS para las celebraciones de su familia en otras ocasiones y disfruto mucho hacerlo. Su mamá llama y me cuenta acerca de una fiesta qué tendrá, su idea y me pregunta qué puedo hacer... me gusta tanto hacer GALLETAS para ella, que podría contestar "Lo que tu quieras!"... PERO algunas veces se convierte en un verdadero reto... Esta vez eligió el tema de la Granja, me envió las imágenes de los animales y me pidió tambien Girasoles... Yo quería hacer Paliacates, asi que le di la idea. Jamás los había hecho, pero mi amiga Callye, The Sweet Adventures of Sweet SugarBelle, es una experta-decoradora-de-GALLETAS-de-Paliacate... Me explicó perfectamente cómo hacerlas! Hasta me dijo que pronto hará un tuto acerca del tema, asi que si te interesa hacerlos, no dejes de seguir su blog!
