As I approach the 365 day count packed in 2011, I started to think about what I have to give thanks for. I ended with a loooong list, and cut it in half, then thought about 25, and finally came to 10. I have lots of things to give thanks for this year, but these, for me are the Top 10... what are yours? Please share...

• I am a child of God, I believe Jesus saved me and I have a close relationship with Him. This year I resumed my Bible study, opened our house for a Bible study group, and am reading my  Bible on a regular basis.
• 2011 presented many challenges, and I lived through them with God's help, and my family and friends' support... 
• My husband and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary on July... and I still feel butterflies in my stomach when I think about him!
• Our children are growing up hearing God's word and his promises. They are affectionate, kind, fun, good students (that meaning they attend school, not their grades), independent,  helpful, considerate...
• My Mom recovered from her accident, is eating well and is taking her medicines. She's still living with us, but is more independent and will move soon
• I learned how to live on a budget... and survived!
• For the first time, we are involved in housekeeping and chores concerning our home... we are doing it as a family, it's been easier than I thought it would be, we are all learning in the process and are saving a lot of money...
• I met more COOKIE friends and had a great time playing COOKIE with them! I am blessed to be part of a wonderful group of friends, COOKIE Queens.
• I've had the opportunity to share and learn about what I love through this blog, and have fun with hundreds of people on twitter, facebook and flickr!
• I took an amazing photo workshop, L'Atelier by Jackie Rueda. Thanks to Jackie, I'm looking at the world with new eyes!

Nos acercamos al final de los 365 días que venían empacados en este 2011, y empecé a pensar en las cosas por las que estoy agradecida. Terminé con una laaaarga lista, la corté a la mitad, pensé en 25 y finalmente llegué a las 10. Hay muchas cosas por las que doy gracias este año, pero estas son el Top 10... cuáles son las tuyas? Compártelas conmigo...

• Soy hija de Dios, creo que fuí salvada por Jesús y vivo una relación estrecha con El. Este año retome mi estudio Biblico, abrí nuestra casa a un grupo de estudio bíblico, y leo mi Biblia regularmente.
• 2011 planteó muchos retos, y los viví con ayuda de Dios, y el sostén de mi familia y amigos...
• Mi esposo y yo celebramos 20 años de casados en Julio... y todavía siento mariposas en el estómago cuando pienso en el!
• Nuestros hijos están creciendo escuchando la palabra de Dios y sus promesas. Son cariñosos, amables, divertidos, buenos estudiantes ( me refiero a que van a la escuela, no a sus calificaciones), independientes, atentos, considerados..
• Mi Mamá se recobró de un accidente, está comiendo mejor y tomando sus medicinas. Todavía vive con nosotros, pero cada días es más independiente y va a mudarse pronto
• Aprendí a vivir con un presupuesto... y sobreviví!
• Por primera vez nos involucramos en las tareas de la casa y su mantenimiento... lo estamos haciendo en familia, y ha sido más fácil de lo que pensé, estamos aprendiendo mucho en el proceso y ahorrando mucho dinero...
• Me reuní con más amigas GALLETERAS y nos divertimos mucho GALLETEANDO juntas! Me siento bendecida de ser parte de un maravilloso grupo, COOKIE Queens.
• He tenido la oportunidad de compartir y aprender a través de este blog, y me he divertido mucho con cientos de personas en twitter, facebook y flickr!
• Tomé un taller de fotografía maravilloso, L'Atelier by Jackie Rueda. Gracias a Jackie, estoy mirando al mundo con nuevos ojos!

A few years ago, I started looking for Quotes on COOKIES... I shared them with friends on FB and twitter... Incredible as you may think, I couldn't find as many as I wanted, so I started to write my own. I use the word COOKIE on a quote, and change any other word for it make sense... at least to me :D

I have lots to share, but if you come up with one, I'd love to publish it on my weekly COOKIEQuotes post and give you credit!

Hace unos cuantos años empecé a buscar citas sobre GALLETAS... las compartí con amigos en FB y twitter... por increible que parezca, no pude encontrar tantas como quería, así que empecé a escribirlas yo misma. Uso la palabra COOKIE en una cita, y cambio cualquier otra palabra para que tenga sentido... por lo menos para mi :D
