baby bunny cookie bouquet

I made this COOKIE Bouquet for S's family and friends... they came to Cancun and had a Baby Shower for S's SIL or someone else... sorry, I can't remember :)

I took the photos, and while looking at them I realized the base back was facing front... fortunately, I had time to turn it ;)

They chose Bunnies for the invitations and decoration of their Villa... I made white Bunnies with pink borders and pink Bunnies with white borders... I used white non-pareils to make their pompom tails look like cotton...

S. told me they put the jumping Bunnies COOKIE Bouquet on the gift table, and that everyone loved the orange flavored Bunnies!

baby cookie tiles

Last week I tried my hand with this COOKIE idea I've found all over the web... I made some for Christmas, and started calling them COOKIE Tiles because, as you know, mexicans loooove tiles...
My cousin's cousin was having her baby, so I thought they would be a great gift for the hospital... I was invited to her Baby Shower, but she never felt she should call and inform me she was at the hospital and hasn't called yet... "funny" don't you think?... I gave the COOKIES to someone else...
I don't think I was very happy with the result, loved the colors, and the images... hope they turn out better next time, don't know if I have to use a smaller tip or what... the best part is that we can ice COOKIE Tiles with whatever theme we choose...
You can get ideas from clipart, invitations, coloring books... I copied the images from a Baby Shower napkin I was saving...

direct free kick... goal!

Ok... I tried to load this picture through Flickr... it didn't turn out OK, so I did it the old way :)

I iced these COOKIES for my nephew J's Birthday last month when he turned 12... he is THE BEST Soccer player in the family!! He plays in a local league, and is often invited to play with teams that need a very good player... he's been to Soccer Summer Camps, and was on a Soccer Tour to England with his uncle, brother and cousins this Winter... they had a great time!!

He is my youngest daughter's BFF, too!! They go to the same school, are in the same grade, sometimes in the same classroom, if they're lucky they get to sit together, we car pool everyday, go out on weekends... we love to see them chatting all day, laughing and having a fun... you get the idea...

He is one of my favorite nephews, too...

little mermaid cookies

I just finished N's Birthday COOKIES... Her mom asked for Mermaids, Sea Horses, Fish and Sea Star COOKIES on a stick... I LOVE the Little Mermaid... isn't she cute with her sea star hairdo?... And her kitsch sea friends, smiling and playing around her?...

I made the Little Mermaid and Sea Horse COOKIE Cutters inspired by clipart from the web... this order was colorful and fun to do! Happy Birthday, N.!!

pirates of the caribbean cookies

This week, among other orders, I made these Pirates COOKIES for J's Birthday...

The only cutters I had were the Boy, Flag and Sailboat... I looked for ideas, and found great clipart and COOKIES in the web, and also made the Parrot and Chest cutters... the Parrot was inspired by SweetDreamsAT, from Cake Central, she does amazing COOKIES... mine was not perfect as hers ;)

I was very happy with the results, but next time I'll try another chest, as I found it a bit dull... I used colored sugar as gems, but still think something was missing or was wrong...
